Patch 0.3 ( PRE-RELEASE )
📖 Heaven's Door Gauntlet (new mode)
Rohan Kishibe draws your adventure, one chapter at a time.
- Equal footing: every stand is level 100, ★0. Nothing from your collection counts, only your choices.
- Build your cast: each chapter you pick one stand out of three. Rarer stands show up the deeper you go (SSR from chapter 3, UR from 6, LR from 9).
- Your cast heals 50% between chapters, and fallen stands get back up. Every 5th chapter is a boss.
- Prototype items on chapters 4, 7, 10 and so on: 16 rejects from the Speedwagon Foundation's shelf, each with wild stats and a real drawback. Golden bullets that can't be dodged, a coin that doubles or halves your hits, a hand that erases buffs, a bomb that goes off when its holder falls, and more.
- Boons and pacts: once your cast is full, Rohan can write a page instead of a new stand.
- A boon is a plain buff: more damage, more health, more speed, more crits, or a big heal.
- A pact is a huge power with a terrible price, and each one can only be signed once per run:
| Pact | You get | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| 仮 Pact of the Stone Mask | +60% damage | Nothing on your team can heal any more |
| 矢 Pact of the Arrow | Specials charge one turn faster | Every special costs its caster 12% of its max health |
| 賭 Pact of D'Arby | Triple dust from every chapter | Lose the run and D'Arby takes back half of what you banked |
| 吉 Pact of the Quiet Life | +40% to every stat | One random stand starts every fight at 1 health |
| 国 Pact of D4C | Enemies have 30% less health | Your stands lose 5% of their health every turn |
| 岩 Pact of the Rock Humans | Double armor, +30% health | Enemies always move first, and you're 30% slower |
- Rewards: Meteor Dust every chapter, an Arrowhead at chapter 15 (once a week), and the title Gauntlet Survivor at chapter 20.
- Weekly ladder: everyone gets the same chapters each week. How far can your story go?
- One free story a day; more cost 5 energy.
🎲 D'Arby's gambling den (new)
Daniel J. D'Arby has opened his back room.
- The coin glass: take turns dropping coins into a glass filled to the brim. Whoever spills it loses.
- Pick your stake with poker chips, from 100 to 2,000 Meteor Dust. Win and your stake comes back doubled.
- Challenge a friend: you both put up the same stake and the winner takes the pot. D'Arby referees and keeps nothing.
- Win 3 in a row against D'Arby to earn his poker chip, a title.
- House rules to keep it fun: 10 games and at most 5,000 dust lost a day, level 10+ only, and a short break after a losing streak.
- Poker and The cat's choice are coming soon…
🔮 Ranked predictions
Watching a live ranked duel? Back a side with some Meteor Dust before round 3. The winners split the whole pool according to their stakes. A draw refunds everyone. Get 10 calls right in a row to earn the Oracle title.
👹 Gang raids have phases
The more damage your gang deals during the week, the deeper the villain goes into its phases. Each villain fights in its own way: DIO stops time, Kira's Sheer Heart Attack hits back, Diavolo erases your turns, Pucci flips gravity… In the final phase, every villain becomes enraged and grows stronger each turn, but your blows land 20% harder.
⚔️ Fights look better
- To Be Continued: the final blow freezes the fight with the classic arrow.
- Victory poses: the winning stand strikes a pose.
- Scenery: each terrain now has its own backdrop behind the fight.
✨ Smaller things
- Home button: at the top of the screen on phones and in the menu on computers. No more tapping the logo to go home.
- Better link previews: links to profiles, stands and news now show a proper card when you share them.
- News formatting: news posts now show bold text, lists, links and tables correctly.
