Update 1.3.3 · Know your type
🔺 Type matchups
- A stand's type is the stat its special scales with, and types now matter in a fight: ⚔️ Damage beats ❤️ Health, ❤️ Health beats 💨 Speed, 💨 Speed beats 🛡️ Armor, 🛡️ Armor beats ⚔️ Damage. 🍀 Luck is neutral.
- In PvE it's the way through: +40% damage against a type you beat, −40% against the one that beats you. Every stage shows its enemies' types and which type to bring, and the fight log says it again. In ranked and friendly duels the edge is ±15%.
- The stand page shows what each stand beats and what it's weak to. The combat wiki has the full wheel.
✦ Prestige in every Adventure mode
- Alternate Universe, Carry Me, Over Heaven, Requiem and Heaven's Gate now have their own prestige, like the story. Clear one to the end and you can start it over, up to 3 times.
- Each prestige: that mode's enemies get +25% health and damage (on top of your account prestige), and every stage pays its first-clear rewards again.
- Nothing locks again: whatever a mode opened stays open, and Carry Me remembers every form.
🏹 Summons: fewer Arrowheads, better pulls
- Every 10-pull holds an SSR or better. It used to be an SR (an SSR only on your very first pull).
- Arrowheads are scarcer: the Crusaders' Journey no longer finds them in DIO's mansion, and the shop sells 1 summon a week (Arrowhead or Devil's Palm), down from 2.
- Story summons come from bosses only: each part's boss gives a Devil's Palm (6 in all). It used to be every third stage (10 in all). Arrowheads still come from the bosses of Parts 3, 5 and 8.
⚔️ Enemies fight as crews
- Computer enemies now get the part synergies, the cross synergies and their crew rules, like your teams, and the resonances those light.
- Rebuilt teams: the story, Alternate Universe, Carry Me and Requiem keep each stage's lead villain, but the stands beside it are now the villains of the same part (and the same rarity) that light the most synergies and resonances. Many more stages now come with a resonance.
- A wall on every team: every enemy team of two or more has a taunter, its sturdiest stand carrying a taunt item (Iggy's Collar, Josuke's Comb, Avdol's Ankh, Abbacchio's Badge or Yellow Temperance). Break it, or work around it.
- More gear: Mirror World reflections now carry items as they level, and story enemies' taunters carry theirs from the first stages.
- Kept fair: each part of the story is eased to stay about where it was, and Requiem mode is recalibrated on its new crews.
