Progression guide

The whole path from your first pull to Over Heaven, in the order it opens. The story drives everything; past Part 3, each new part, universe and act also asks for a player level, so the rest of the game (quests, Mirror World, raids) is part of the climb, not a detour.

Guided paths

Your home page always shows your next goal. The Beginner's path is the first of 4 chapters; each one opens when you claim the last, and every step pays once (steps you'd already done count straight away).

5 · The endgame

  • Over Heaven opens with the end of the story: 7 tracks of puzzle fights where a team built for each fight's rule beats raw rarity. Start with Heaven's Trials, which teaches the rules one at a time. (Heaven's Trials · 12, The Bizarre Journey · Over Heaven · 6, What If · Over Heaven · 6, Boss Rush · Over Heaven · 6, The Tower · Over Heaven · 6, The Depths · Over Heaven · 6, Requiem · Over Heaven · 6)
  • Over Heaven co-op raids open at the same time: the weekly raid boss with a rule, for 2 or 3 players.
  • Heaven's Gate opens once Requiem · Over Heaven is cleared: four fights at full Requiem strength under Over Heaven's rules, each built around an impossible power. The World stops time every third round, King Crimson erases your turns while Epitaph shows you who his stands will strike, Heaven's Door hides your enemies' health until you read it, and Made in Heaven shrinks your turn clock every round. Before each fight you pick a pact: a blessing with a curse attached. Clearing all four earns the title “Heaven's Gate”.
  • Account prestige: with the story cleared, start it again with stronger enemies and every reward paid again, up to prestige 3 (see the modes page). Bring stands with prestige of their own.
  • Training ground opens at account prestige 1: train three stands at once (each earns about what a Heaven's Door run pays) for energy and Meteor Dust (Sparring 4 000, Intense drill 5 000, Masterclass 6 000), and earn chips.

Your team at each step

What a team usually needs to win each milestone (measured with the team simulator on SSR teams and on a top LR/UR team). Every PvE fight shows the same advice under its enemies, next to your own team, with a link to simulate it.

MilestoneTeam levelStars (every stand)Gear

Where the copies come from: every star takes spare copies of the stand (★1 1, ★2 1, ★3 2, ★4 2, ★5 3). Pull the banner your team comes from; Devil's Palms pull 5 stands at SR or better; every 10-pull adds a spark (20 buy any SSR of a banner); release the stands you won't use for Stand Discs and buy the exact copy you need; a Requiem Arrow stands in for one copy (the bosses of Parts 6, 7 and 8 each give one). The Weekly Road adds Devil's Palms, Discs and an Arrowhead every week. Swapping a starred stand out? Releasing it refunds the copies its stars used, as Discs.

How to level up

Player XP comes from almost everything you do. Level up in Mirror World, quests, the dungeon, co-op raids and the tower.

Mirror World100 a fight (1 energy)

Energy refills one point every 6 minutes (up to 240 a day if you spend it as it comes), and a full bar stops refilling, so a few short visits a day beat one long one. The story has no level gates: its fights climb a little every stage, so your team's growth sets the pace. Carry Me opens at level 36 and its Encore at 58: about three to four weeks of steady play.

Stand levels come mostly from Heaven's Door training: fights only teach your stands a little. A 12-turn run with one stand pays a few levels and a small permanent gain. Then raise a stand's prestige with spare copies of it.

Stuck on a fight?

  • Read the line under the enemies: it says what the fight asks (level, stars, gear) and what your team is missing.
  • Run it in the team simulator first (the 🧪 Simulate link), or try other stands and gear in the team planner.
  • Level your team and give it stars (upgrading stands): short on copies, buy them with Stand Discs. Equip and refine items, and socket chips.
  • Look for a synergy: a team that shares a crew or a part hits much harder (explorer).
  • Replay cleared stages for stand XP while you wait for a level gate.
